dumb cats
There's nothing like taking a nearly two-hour round trip from Fremont to San Jose at rush hour because your cat is a big damn dork. Leonard's been hanging around the Faculty Office building, which is the Humanities and English department offices, since last night. I missed the first couple of calls because my phone had powered down, but he camped out again this afternoon and they called me to pick him up, since they didn't want to put him out in the rain. As far as I can tell, he figures because he left me there (we had lunch together in the English Society lounge Thursday) that obviously I should still be there when he goes back.

Ah, the simple minds of cats. And the things we do for them :) I wish I could take a cat to work. Unfortunately, the real estate people in the offices next to us often bring dogs to work and I don't think that would work out well.

I'd love a job where I could take him in, but he'd want to wander all over the building and Meet! Everyone! Because he is Leonard and all should worship and adore him. And scritch. And give treats. But it's fun having lunch with him between classes

Well of course! And everyone should (and probably would) drop everything to see to his slightest whim ;)

Obviously. *facepalm*
