I don't normally do memes, but I had to post this one because hey, perfect! and also because of how I got the perfect. There was one question of which of four states was not one of the original thirteen, and I wibbled briefly because I knew that New Hampshire and Vermont had been basically the same chunk of land at the time, but I couldn't remember which one came first as a state. Then I remembered: oh, hey, Josiah Bartlett, the signer of the Declaration, was from New Hampshire.

See! TV, or at least the West Wing, can be educational.

You Passed the US Citizenship Test

Congratulations - you got 10 out of 10 correct!

I went to the University of Virginia. They practically make you memorize Jefferson's epitaph(1) there.

(1) Personally written by him: "Here was buried Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of American Independence, of the Statute of Virginia for Religious Freedom, and Father of the University of Virginia."

Heh. For me, growing up in Illinois, it was Lincoln. :)

I always thought it had a certain "We're Number Three!" quality to it, but, y'know, being number three for TJ is still pretty impressive.
