real life doom
Well, I got the dreaded call tonight. I have a 9am meeting at work tomorrow. I think I can count on the fact that they didn't fly my boss in from Colorado to tell me that I'm still employed, so I grabbed a few extra things from my desk so that I have less to carry out tomorrow.

I'm a little surprised they waited to call me until 5:30 pm -- there was no surety that I was still going to be there then.

Bah. I hate being unemployed in the best of times, much less deep recession, and that's what it is here.

Even when the government is giving away free puppies because there's a surplus, having no source of income sucks impressively. (:

I'm surprised they flew him out at all, if they're that hard up.

Is going back to Taos an option at all?

Re: Mrf.
Sun has lots of cash on hand, they aren't in trouble. It's just that they have to get profitable again, and that means cuts.

Probably not with Taos -- they laid off Fire just a few weeks ago due to not enough work.
