food avalanche

I come home from a lovely evening of dinner out and movie, and I can't open the back door. Because my pantry shelves have collapsed sideways. Go in through the front door and examine the damage. It's a mess, but it could have been a lot worse; only two of the plastic or glass things that could have broken did break, and the flour canister restrained itself to a hole in the side and a fairly minor spill, instead of exploding like a flour bomb. The one jar of jelly was the worst, but even that was fairly easily cleaned up and only a couple of items had fallen into the sticky stuff.

Guess I get to go out tomorrow and buy more shelves. And this time make sure they have the little corner brackets (they were missing from this box and didn't get around to getting replacements) and earthquake strap it to the wall. Which I should do anyway.
