KJ International continue to be my new bestest friends, having given me another language to work on. That makes three for this manual, and should mean enough to take care of April's expenses, assuming EDD doesn't flake out on the money they owe me. And that KJI pays invoices promptly, always a question with freelance work.

I am reminded once again of just how *expensive* documentation is, and where the cost is. Not so much in the content, but in the processing. Each booklet is not very big, but it's still costing them on average $40-80 every time one passes through my hands, and most of them are going through twice. Same for the translator/proofer, mostly likely; takes less time, but she probably has a higher rate.
